How can I win Scholarship?Attending one of our partner competitions Through our studio partnership program Submit an audition online

Do I need to Audition?Performers not receiving a scholarship through one of our partners are required to submit a video audition.

Do my dancer and I each need our own Package?Each guest ages 3+ requires their own package, as per Disney rules. Dancers choose the "Dancer Package" and non-dancing guests choose the "Family & Friends Package" Each package covers all passes/activities/merch for one person ONLY. Packages are priced based on double occupancy.

Can my performer Attend on his/her own?Performers 14 and older may attend without a parent or guardian and will be given a room mate. Performers travelling on their own are responsible for getting themselves to all rehearsals and meet up locations. A Lightning Elite chaperone will be with performers travelling on their own for any free time periods after rehearsals unless parent/guardian permission is given for their performer to leave the hotel property unaccompanied.

My performer has won more than one Scholarship, can they be Combined?Scholarships cannot be combined for use on the same program. Additional scholarships can be carried forward to a future event or another event in the same season.

Who performs in the Lightning Elite Disneyland Show?/ Is this experience combined with multiple Groups/StudiosThe Lightning Elite Disneyland performance is for Lightning Elite dancers ONLY. Our dancers perform a 25 minute show that is not produced by an additional tour company or shared with other tour groups or studios. Lightning Elite is proud to provide their dancers with an exclusive performance opportunity.

What is the deposit/cancelation policy?All deposits are Non-Refundable. In the event a guest must cancel their trip prior to the registration deadline, not the payment deadline, an exception may be made on a case-by-case basis. Cases are considered dependent on monies paid out by Lightning Elite to secure event space/tickets/pre-paid meals/merchandise purchased on behalf of that guest. When monies have been paid out on behalf of a guest a deposit refund can not be considered. Once monies have been paid out on behalf of a guest, a deposit cannot be transferred to a different trip than the one that the deposit was placed for. If a trip is canceled by the guest after additional monies above the Non-Refundable Deposit have been paid to Lightning Elite ,a partial refund, dependant on monies paid out by Lightning Elite to secure event space/tickets/pre-paid meals/merchandise purchased on behalf of that guest can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Cases are considered based on what monies can be refunded to Lightning Elite, and what monies are not refundable to Lightning Elite.

We would like to arrive early and/or stay after the intensive finishes. Are we able to extend our room reservation at the group rate?Yes! Indicate your desired check-in/check-out dates on your registration form and we will take care of your room reservation for you!

I don't want to stay in the Host Hotel, Is the package available without the Hotel room?Our dancers rehearse in the host hotel facilities. As such our contract requires all participating dancers and their guests be registered guests in the Lightning Elite room block.

My (Husband/Grandmother/Sister/Younger Sibling Etc.) Would like to come and not participate in any activities. Do they need to be registered guest?YES! Our contract with our host hotel requires every guest staying in a room block room be registered through Lightning Elite. Guests wishing to join an LE room but not participate in activities purchase a “hotel only” package.

My (Husband/Grandmother/Sister/Younger Sibling Etc.) will be joining us for the last few days. Do they need to be registered guest?YES! Our contract with our host hotel requires every guest staying in a room block room be registered through Lightning Elite. Guests wishing to join an LE room but not participate in activities purchase a “hotel only” package. This price will be adjusted based on their arrival/departure date.

Can my (Husband/Grandmother/Sister/Younger Sibling Etc.) and I share a Family & Friends Package? For Example: I Attend the welcome party and another guest attends the farewell party.No. Packages can not be shared. Each guest ages 3+ requires their own package. Guests can not “tap out” of events etc and have a different guest take their place. Guests wishing to join VIP Lightning Elite/Disney events must purchase their own package.

Can I participate in only few activities and purchase a partial Family & Friends Package?Packages are only available as is, without substitutions or exclusions. We make large group bookings for each event, the group members must remain the same for the entire week.

Can I purchase a ticket for one event only? Such as the farewell party character breakfast, or welcome party?No. Packages elements are not available "a-la-carte". We make large group bookings for each event, the group members must remain the same for the entire week.

What does based on Double Occupancy mean?Two individuals staying in the same hotel room. This can be 1 dancer and 1 family and friend package guest, 2 dancers, or 2 family and friend package guests. Discounts are available for 3+ guests in one hotel room. See “pricing and reservations” on our website for details.
